Preservation Donations

Plans for 2015 are ongoing, and include work at Government House restoring its old cistern, the entire 1793 middle section of the main building and the gardens. Electricity and plumbing need to be added and many interior details must be attended to. We hope to install signage to recognize donors. Marketing plans and budgeting for the costs of ongoing operations and maintenance have to be undertaken.

I hope that all of you who have contributed to this project will or have had a chance to visit Government House and take pride in the work your gifts have made possible!

This, of course, leads to the issue of another fundraiser for the Foundation so that Phase 2 and Phase 3 can be accomplished and the project completed. Although I have not met with the Board, I hope to do so and with Ethlyn plan a second tour of Salt Cay with focus on Government House in January. All of you are of course invited and I will send details as they are solidified. If any of you have any ideas of grants or donors to whom we have not yet reached out, I would be delighted if you would let me know.

I do not have email addresses for most of you. If you would like to receive updates or photos of the progress at Government House by email, please send your information to me at

With many thanks for your donations and interest in the Turks and Caicos Preservation Foundation,

Helen Krieble, President

June, 2015
